The old ME before i left for Australia...

Well, its the start of my one week Easter break. I am practically going to be boring myself to death because the everything here is closed for the weekend. So all shops, cinemas, shopping centres..ect..are only going to be opened on tuesday. Most people i know have gone to the gold coast for the break. I might be going to the coast maybe sometime next week just to walk along the beach. Whatever time i have at home will most probably be spent studying cuz my exams are on the week school re-opens. Well i only have 3 exams when school re-opens and being such a Singaporean when it comes to studying i will be writing out notes. My school mates think i am weird cuz i write out notes, all of them just study from the lecture notes. Well i am happy that all my other fellow Singaporeans here study exactly like me!

Oh yes, my home bred indian mama at home, you will be getting something from me for your birthday. So please look out for the postman.

The hottest most popular hangout in Brisbane City, Fridays. Thats the name of the club, Fridays. Every month there is an Indian Night organised by CLUB MASTI at Fridays. Usually it is organised on a friday, so therefore its called Fridays at Fridays..duh! They give every indian night a name, Rang De Basanti was the one held at the end of Febuary and Nachle was what they called it this time, for the month of March. Its actually very interesting because you get to meet indians from all around the world. And as of Nachle, I found out I am like the only tamillian there. Everyone else is Hindi, Punjabi, Gujerati or whatelse. And its very nice when they make you feel at home and they dont care if you cant speak their language because then they will change their conversations to english. Not that I dont understand Hindi, my hindi is pretty much in the same boat as my malay and chinese. Well with the help of Neepa my Hindi is now actually improving. Punjabi is actually like Hindi but more rougher. Majority of the crowd who comes for the Indian nights are punjabi..and they play mostly punjabi songs, which are fine by me. Met a Singaporean dude Raj. He actually used to live at the place i am living in now, but moved out just before i moved in. Raj is Punjabi though. But he was pleased to have met another Singaporean and another MANCHESTER UNITED fan! Met a few other nice people. Like this dude Mihir from Gujerat who only remembers Takashimaya Shopping Centre from his visit to Singapore. Funny dude. My feet hurt though. I was dead tired by the time i came home. I managed to change before i fell asleep, but did not take off my boots, fell asleep with them. Only realised i still had them on when i woke up 3hrs later to use the bathroom. HAHA!
